The classes were good. I liked my teacher and I have the feeling it really helped me with french, espeachally with being more confident with speaking french. The house was also good, just the shower in my room sometimes made problems. The activities and excursions were nice and funny as well. I liked the concelors too, all of them were nice and friendly. I met new people and some girls I already knew from last year. Meeting them again was also cool.Voir les détails » Lire plus...
What I liked:
- Teachers were friendly and nice to the students learning French
- Art activities were very good and children enjoyed this very much
Suggestions for feedback
- IBS could have a bi-weekly of weekly coffee for the parents to meet & greet with teachers
- The Day students felt left out of the boarding actitivities and could have option to do activities until 6:30pm vs 3:30pm
I had a wonderful experience at IBS. I think it's very good to meet new friends from all over the world , speak in English and even notice the differences between people of another country and people of mine. During my lessons I learned a lot of grammar, culture and traditions about the many french regions and discovered very nice songs, too. Our boarding house was great ,big with a beautiful garden and a magnificent swimming pool. The food was delicious (but the garlic was too much!) and we ate all together in a very nice garden outside the kitchen. I would prefer more information and explanations about the places we visited.
I LİKE THE TEACHERS YHEY WERE EXPERİENCED AND THE BOARDİNG WERE REALLY COMFORTABLE BUT HOUSES STINKED VERY BADVoir les détails » Lire plus...
I liked to getting to know new people, I liked doing sport every day and learning English in different ways. I liked my new friends and teachers. Sometimes I find it difficult to go and relax in my room in the afternoon because it was too hot.Voir les détails » Lire plus...
Better French lessons than English.
Many different nationalities.
Good organization of time.
I really enjoyed the summer camp at IBS of Provence. The best thing in my opinion about it is that you didn't have time to get bored. During the mornings we had classes, and in the afternoon there was always some kinf of activity, like laser-tag, multi-adventure, going to the beach, going to AIX, and others.
The food in the school is really good, I was really surprised. A very good thing is that there are people from all over the world, so you get to know thing about many diferent cultures.
The classes' level was good too; I improved my French as i wanted.
It was a pretty good experience, and I may repeat it next year.
I enjoyed my time at IBS a lot. My French improved a lot and I also found some new friends. The teachers were nice and I also think it was a good mix of grammar and speaking exercises. The first week, I was in a class with six people and in the second and third week in a class with 16 students. First I wasn't happy because we were so many but the teacher did a good job so in the end I didn't notice anymore that we were too many. I also took the afternoon class and this improved my French so much! They said, that we could do more oral exercises and no grammar and so we talked all the time and this really helped a lot.Voir les détails » Lire plus...
I had a great time. It was a well-constructed camp too, and it seemed like everybody was in charge; the supervisors, the teachers, and everyone else knew what everybody was supposed to do. For example: the weekly schedule containing the sites we were about to visit was followed without any hassle; it was all clear. The daily schedule was also clear and easy to follow. It worked out well with the classes. I learned a lot, mostly because we overhauled very much of the basics in the French grammar. It was good that you had a break in the middle because otherwise some people wouldn't make it through the class. The fact that the teachers had the professions as teachers made it better too. It was nice to be able to choose between the many alternatives of activities in the afternoon. To be able to switch between tennis and to swim in the pool was important.Voir les détails » Lire plus...
I liked the following:
I did not like the following:
- Free time (too much at school time)
- The mixture of children's ages
- Too many Spanish people
I really enjoyed meeting with people from different countries and continents, from all over the world. The teacher was very informative, and we learned not only French, but also about the French culture.Voir les détails » Lire plus...
I think that the best part was being with people from all over the world. I didn't think that the class/content was the best.Voir les détails » Lire plus...
My French skills have improved a lot. I've learnt new grammar and vocabulary. My teacher was really nice and she has taught me a lot. What I liked most was meeting new people. I appreciate that and we are still in touch. There are a lot of options for activities and I think that this school has good ones. I really recommend this school to other people.Voir les détails » Lire plus...
