Description des cours

The B2 English intensive course helps you develop increasingly advanced English skills at levels B2.1 and B2.2. Find out how to express yourself fluently and cohesively in spoken and written form. Learn how to begin conversations in anglophone countries and keep them going. Besides listening and speaking skills, you’ll practice reading and writing complexly structured sentences – for personal use, for work, or to pass an English exam. Learn to lead professional conversations and discuss detail effortlessly. Benefit from and present your own detailed descriptions in spoken and written form. Polish your ability to apply English phonetics and intonation in the English Language Lab*. Professionally led, automatized listening and speaking tasks will help you speak correctly and more elegantly. *Online participation is also possible on request. In the case of online course participation, the phonetics units in the LcL language laboratory are omitted.

Overview of English B2.1 + B2.2 language content

- Use English independently in real or imaginary situations

- Apply grammar correctly in connected sentences about daily life and your area of expertise

- Participate in discussions about your area of expertise, clearly lay out your opinions and goals

- Practice initiating and continuing conversations as well as correcting yourself

- Write complex and detailed texts about specific topics

- Study Phonetics in the LcL Language Lab

In one of the most beautiful streets of the 7th district in Vienna.

The top renovated rooms of our old Viennese Biedermeier house from 1695 offer a comfortable and modern atmosphere to help you focus on your learning. Our offices contain five classrooms, each about 10 to 25 square meters. Every classroom is furnished with easy-to-move desks and chairs, as well as a cloakroom. On sunny days, our picturesque courtyard is also available for lessons outside. Our language institute is on the ground floor. The building itself is under monument protection, it is one of the oldest houses of Vienna. Right around the corner from the school, you will find numerous cafés, restaurants and bars as well as museums, theaters and cinemas.

Buses: 48A (St Ulrichs Platz or Kellermanngasse) or 13A (Neubaugasse/Westbahnstraße or Burggasse/Neubaugasse)

If you're traveling by car, the Contipark Garage Museumsquartier or the Payuca Garage Kirchberggasse are available for a parking fee.

The stops and parking garages listed above are at most a five-minute walk from our facilities.

It was very intensive course, thanks to which i learned a lot. Teacher was very patient and helpful. It was crazy for me to get to know people from all over the world and work with them. You can see the school is new, you can feel the breath of freshness. Class to practice pronunciation is a super experience. I'm thinking about starting the next course, this time a level up.

"I had a good experience and improved my language skills during my time there."

The location is practical and accessible. The facilities are new and some are still being renovated/improved. Some equipment such as headphones and microphones were not fully set up and were used on the last day of class. The instructor was really good, spoke clearly and explained things well. The setup of the classes was good. Ideally, it would be great to switch up class activities and make them a bit more dynamic so that it’s not as repetitive over time (such as creating dialogues or conversations). The staff is friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that they provided us with water for every class. Overall I had a very good experience. While there are things still being set up or renovated, I think this institute already has great potential for being a good resource for language learning.
